A long-standing commitment to select key Polish suppliers

EDF considers localisation as a lever for developing skilled resources and supporting the Polish economy.

National involvement will also benefit the project and help achieve global competitiveness.
Polish suppliers are likely to have opportunities to enter new markets, especially other EPR projects around the world.

Relying on the strong and matured Polish industry, EDF has already achieved major steps forward in localisation and skills development during the last decade. As a result, EDF will be in the position to secure a high level of local content:

  • 70 Polish companies already pre-qualified by EDF in particular in mechanical manufacturing, key strength of the Polish industry. More companies are welcome especially in civil works, erection services, engineering services;
  • 10 Suppliers’ events organised throughout Poland, and more to come;
  • Continuous enlargement of the Polish industrial base for EPR projects in line with PPEJ’s objectives.
